Seven-Man Shortlist For February Premier League Player Of The Month Released
Seven players have been shortlisted for the Premier League's player of the month for February.
Among the nominees are English trio Phil Foden, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka while Joao Gomes, Rasmus Hojlund, Pascal Gross and Rodrigo Muniz have also been picked.
Aston Villa striker Watkins continued his impressive form this season with four goals and two assists during the month.
Foden scored four goals in five games for Manchester City in February.
Gross' four assists during the month were the highest in the division while the Germany international also chipped in with one goal.
Hojlund hit a hot streak in February, scoring five goals and recording one assist. At 21, the Dane became the youngest player in Premier League history to score in six straight top flight games.
Saka scored the most goals of any player in February with six goals as Arsenal won all their four games.
Fulham striker Muniz stepped up with four goals in the absence of the injured Raul Jimenez.
Brazil midfielder Gomez was instrumental for Wolves in wins over Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea, scoring twice against Spurs and recording an assist against the Blues.
Elsewhere, Mikel Arteta, Pep Guardiola and Erik Ten Hag will battle for manager of the month.
