Pedro Neto Becomes Chelsea's Latest Summer Signing From Wolves
Chelsea have raided Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign winger Pedro Neto for an initial £51m fee.
Neto has agreed terms on a seven-year contract until the summer of 2031.
The 24-year-old Portugal international is departing Molineux Stadium after five seasons, making 135 appearances and scoring 14 goals.
He has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons but still managed 11 goal contributions in 20 Premier League appearances last season.
Neto's transfer fee is a record sale for Wolves, eclipsing the £47m Al Hilal paid to sign Ruben Neves from the club last summer.
"I feel really grateful to have joined this club," Neto told Chelsea's official website.
"I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I'm looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt."
Neto could make his debut for Chelsea in next weekend's Premier League opener against Manchester City.
