Lautaro Martinez Extends Inter Milan Contract Until 2029

Martinez has scored 129 goals in 282 games for Inter since joining from Racing Club in 2018.

He has won two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies, three Italian Super Cups and finished as a runner up in both the Europa League and Champions League during his time at Inter Milan.

Last season, Martinez won the top scorer in Serie A with 24 goals, eight goals clear of his nearest challenger Dusan Vlahovic.

“The renewal means a lot, I am proud and grateful. I’d like to thank the directors at the club,” Lauttaro Martinez said in his customary interview with Inter’s media channels.

“After six years, still being here means a lot to me and my family, I am really happy and I want to get back to fighting and winning again. I want to give 100% in every game and to help my teammates by setting an example to follow.”

The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner is set to lead the line on Saturday when Inter Milan start the defence of their Serie A title away at Genoa.
