Liverpool Officially Confirm Arne Slot As Jurgen Klopp's Replacement
Liverpool have officially announced Arne Slot as the club's new manager.
The 45-year-old has signed a three-year contract running until the summer of 2027.
Slot replaces Jurgen Klopp, who has left Anfield after almost nine years on the red side of Merseyside.
Slot had been in charge of Feyenoord since the summer of 2021 and won one Eredivisie title and one Dutch Cup.
He will formally begin his role as Liverpool boss on June 1.
"It's certainly not an easy decision to close the door behind you at a club where you've had so many great moments and worked successfully with so many great people," Slot said in a statement on Feyenoord's website.
"But an opportunity to become a head coach in the Premier League, at one of the biggest clubs in the world, is hard to ignore as a sportsman."
Liverpool finished third in the Premier League this season.
