Bournemouth Sign Unal Permanently From Getafe For £13m
Bournemouth have signed Turkish striker Enes Unal on a permanent deal from Getafe.
Unal moved to the Vitality Stadium in the January transfer window on a loan deal until the end of the season.
After 16 appearances and two goals, Unal will remain a part of Andoni Iraola's side for next season after signing a four-year contract.
Unal helped Bournemouth finish 12th in the Premier League last season, achieving their highest ever points tally of 48.
Bournemouth are paying £13m for his services.
Unal – who missed the first half of 2023-24 with a cruciate ligament tear – told the Cherries' website: "I enjoyed testing myself in the Premier League while regaining my fitness. I am really excited for the years ahead."
"The project here is something I was keen to be a part of back in January, and I think that we have great potential together to improve further."
The 27-year-old has won 33 caps for Turkey and is in their provisional EURO 2024 squad.
