Van Nistelrooy In Frame To Be Appointed New Leicester City Manager
Ruud Van Nistelrooy is set to be named as the new manager of Leicester City.
Leicester sacked previous manager Steve Cooper earlier this week after Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.
The Foxes are 16th on the Premier League table, just two points above the relegation zone.
Van Nistelrooy recently left his role as an assistant coach at Manchester United under Erik Ten Hag.
The former Netherlands striker held the forth at Old Trafford briefly after Ten Hag was sacked, winning three of four games but was deemed surplus to requirements after Ruben Amorim took charge of the Red Devils.
Leicester have won just twice in 12 attempts so far on their return to the top flight and have lost three of their last four games.
Leicester's next Premier League game is away at Brentford on Saturday.
