Man City Sanction Cancelo Sale To Saudi Pro League Side Al-Hilal
Manchester City have sold right back Joao Cancelo to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal for £21m.
The Premier League champions have decided to cut their losses on the Portugal international, who fell out with manager Pep Guardiola last year and has spent the last 18 months on loan at Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Cancelo has agreed a three-year contract with the Saudi Pro League champions.
The 30-year-old joined Manchester City from Juventus for £60m in the summer of 2019 and won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup during his time at the club.
Cancelo made 154 appearances for Manchester City, scoring nine goals.
He had a contract at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2027.
