Benzema Expects Real Madrid To Maintain Domestic And European Dominance Next Season
Karim Benzema expects Real Madrid to remain the team to beat both domestically and in Europe going into the 2024/2025 season.
Los Blancos won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League for a 15th time last season under Carlo Ancelotti.
Kylian Mbappe has been brought in to augment the side going into the new campaign while Endrick has joined from Palmeiras.
Real Madrid's successes last season came despite losing Benzema to Saudi Arabia side Al Ittihad at the start of the campaign.
The 36-year-old scored 354 goals in 648 appearances and won 25 major trophies before leaving the Spanish capital.
"A spectacular season, very good," Benzema told Marca. "Real Madrid is always the best team in the world.
"Players come and go, but Real Madrid will always be at the top, at the very top. It is the best and will continue to prove it.
"It's the best team in the world. It's always strong and fighting for everything. I stand there, look around and don't see any team that's capable of being better.
"They have everything. Players, coach and president."
