Guardiola, Spalletti And Inzaghi Shortlisted For 2023 FIFA Men's Coach Of The Year
Pep Guardiola, Luciano Spalletti and Simone Inzaghi have been selected to battle for the 2023 FIFA Men's Coach of the year award.
The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on January 15.
Guardiola enjoyed a record-breaking year with Manchester City which could even get better when they participate in the FIFA Club World Cup this month.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager led Manchester City to an unprecedented treble of FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League triumphs this year.
He also added the UEFA Super Cup to his list of laurels at the Etihad Stadium in August.
Spalletti is now in charge of the Italy national team but he led Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years last season and also reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
Inzaghi won the Coppa Italia with Inter Milan last term and they also went all the way to the Champions League final, where they lost out to Manchester City.
Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni won the 2022 edition of the FIFA Men's best coach following their glory in Qatar.
