Chelsea Announce Signing Of Brazil Wizkid Estevao Willian From Palmeiras

The 17-year-old forward has penned a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge and will move to England when he turns 18 next summer.

Chelsea will pay Palmeiras an initial £29m, with a potential £20m in add-ons to come as well.

A club statement read: “Chelsea Football Club has agreed a deal to sign teenage forward Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, with the Brazilian to officially join Chelsea next summer.”

While Estevao shared the news on social media, adding: “Thank you, Lord. Another dream come true.”

Estevao only made his debut for Palmeiras last year but has scored four goals in 17 appearances.

He becomes the fourth Brazilian on Chelsea's books after Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington and Angelo Gabriel.
