Torino Snap Che Adams On A Free Transfer After Southampton Exit
Scotland striker Che Adams has signed for Serie A side Torino after leaving Southampton.
Adams has signed a three-year contract as a free agent, with his Southampton contract expiring at the end of June.
Adams scored 16 goals in 41 Championship games last season as Southampton gained promotion to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old joined the Saints from Birmingham City in the summer of 2019 and made 191 appearances in all competitions, scoring 48 goals.
Torino finished ninth in Serie A last season.
“Torino are delighted to announce the signing of the footballer Ché Adams,” the Granata said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The striker has signed a contract until June 2027.”
“Ciao Torino! So excited for the next chapter & can’t wait to get started in my new home. Let’s go,” wrote Adams on his official Instagram account, posting some pictures from his medical tests with the Granata and the first few photos from the capital of Piedmont.
Adams featured in all three Scotland games at EURO 2024.
