Barcelona's teenage defender Pau Cubarsi is one of three players who have been omitted from Spain's final EURO 2024 squad.

Spain Name Final EURO 2024 Squad As Cubarsi Misses Out

The 17-year-old broke into the Barcelona team earlier this year and made 24 appearances in all competitions. He has since won three caps for Spain, including their 5-0 win over Andorra on Wednesday.

Cubarsi will however have to wait for his first taste of a major international tournament and is joined by Atletico Madrid's Marcos Llorente and Girona's Aleix Garcia in leaving the squad.

Two more Barcelona youngsters, Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez, are however included in the squad.

Experienced heads like Alvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal, Nacho Fernandez and Rodri have all been picked.

Three-time winners Spain are in the same group with Albania, Italy and Croatia.
