Onana Disappointed With Man Utd's Draw With Fenerbahce In Europa League

Not for the first time this season, Erik Ten Hag's side took the lead in Europe but had to settle for a point in the end.

Christian Eriksen gave the visitors a first half lead in Turkey but Youssef En-Nesyri equalised for Jose Mourinho's men four minutes after the break.

United were indebted to Onana for their point as the Cameroon goalkeeper pulled off a number of brilliant saves.

The former Inter Milan shot stopper was less than impressed with the final result, with Manchester United drawing each of their three Europa League games so far this season.

"It is a big disappointment for me and the fans, for the club, as a Manchester United player you have an obligation to try to win," Onana told TNT Sports.

"We didn't win, but at least we didn't lose. Not happy, of course, but we move on, take responsibility and go again.

"We conceded an early goal in the second half, we had to show character, and I think that is what we did. We didn't win, but I thought we were better than them."
