Man Utd's Injury Curse Strikes Again As Yoro And Hojlund Miss Start Of Season

The pair were taken off in the first half of Manchester United's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last week in a pre-season friendly.

Yoro, who recently joined from Lille for £52m, suffered a foot injury in the game and has been ruled out of action for three months.

The 18-year-old will miss key games against Manchester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa when the season starts.

Hojlund will be absent for six weeks after he pulled his hamstring in the same game.

The news is an unwelcome headache for manager Erik Ten Hag, who battled several injuries to his side last season before finishing eighth in the Premier League.

Manchester United defeated Real Betis 3-2 in a pre-season game earlier on Thursday.
