Martial Goes Into Lockdown For 10 Weeks After Groin Surgery
Anthony Martial will spend a further ten weeks on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a groin injury.
The 28-year-old has not played for Manchester United since the 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth on December 9.
Martial has only made seven starts in 19 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring two goals.
A statement from United said: "Anthony has completed successful surgery to address a groin complaint and will be out of action for about 10 weeks as he rehabilitates.
"We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to his return."
Martial's contract will expire this summer but Manchester United have the option to trigger an extension for one more year.
