Joao Neves Joins PSG From Benfica On Five-Year Deal
Paris Saint Germain have won the race to sign talented Portugal youngster Joao Neves from Benfica.
Neves has joined the French champions for £60m despite interest from Manchester United and has signed a five-year contract.
The 19-year-old midfielder made 75 appearances for Benfica after coming through their youth ranks in January 2023 and scored four goals.
Neves was part of the Portugal squad at EURO 2024, making two appearances.
"It is a great pride for me to join Paris Saint-Germain, a very ambitious club," Neves said after signing his five-year contract.
"I will give everything to help my teammates, grow in this fantastic Club and win many titles."
