'He's Back'- Dortmund Re-Sign Sancho On Loan From Man Utd

Sancho has not played active football for the past four months after being frozen out of the Manchester United squad following a public fallout with manager Erik Ten Hag.

The 23-year-old has now opted to return to the Signal Iduna Park where he spent four years between 2017 and 2021, scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists in 137 matches before joining the Red Devils.

Sancho's stint with Manchester United has not gone according to plan and will hope a return to Germany will see him revive his career and put him in contention for EURO 2024 selection.

"Jadon is a real difference-maker and I'm looking forward to seeing him back in black and yellow soon. He knows this city, Signal Iduna Park, our fans and our club," said Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.

"Even though he hasn't played a competitive match in the last few months, we are sure that he will quickly settle in, get into top form and use his qualities to help us achieve our goals for the season."

Sancho added: "When I walked into the dressing room today, it was like coming home. I know the club inside out, I've always been very close to the fans here and I've never lost contact with the people in charge.

"I can't wait to see my teammates again, get out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, set up goals, score goals and help us qualify for the Champions League."
