'Friday Is Toni's Last Game'- Joselu Hoping To Send Kroos Into Early Retirement

Kroos has already announced he will call time on his football career after this summer's European Championships.

The 34-year-old, already a World Cup winner with Germany in 2014, is hoping to sign off with EUROS glory.

He has been one of the tournament's best players so far but Germany will come face-to-face with an impressive Spain side in Stuttgart.

Joselu played with Kroos at Real Madrid last season when they won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

"It's a shame we have to send Toni into retirement like that, but hopefully we will win on Friday and it will be Toni's last game, for our own good," Joselu told a pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

"We have to believe in ourselves and not worry about another player... I love Toni, we care for him, but I think Friday is Toni's last game."

"It's been a pleasure for me to play with him. I think he reflects all that is Real Madrid, the values of the club," added Joselu.

"He's a fundamental player for Germany, as well as for Real Madrid, we need to keep an eye on him on Friday."

Joselu has left Real Madrid to sign for Qatari side Al-Gharafa.
