Solanke Wins Premier League Player Of The Month For December

Solanke takes home the December prize after scoring a league-high six goals during the month.

The 26-year-old's goals included a first ever career hat-trick against Nottingham Forest.

Solanke received the most votes from fans and a panel of experts among an eight-man shortlist that included Mohamed Kudus, Son Heung-Min, Cole Palmer, Marcos Senesi, Michael Olise, Matheus Cunha and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

In a video posted by Bournemouth's official social media accounts, Solanke said: 'I am delighted to win the Player of the Month for December.

'It was a great month, some big wins and special moments including my first Premier League hat-trick.

'So I just wanted to thank all of the players and staff at the club, and most importantly the fans. The support has been amazing and hopefully we can carry on for the rest of the season.'

Elsewhere, Unai Emery beat Jurgen Klopp, Andoni Iraola and David Moyes to the manager of the month award.
