Serie A Newcomers Como Seal Belotti Signing From AS Roma

Belotti has signed a two-year contract after two tumultuous seasons in the Italian capital.

The 30-year-old joined Roma from Torino in the summer of 2022 but scored just 10 goals in 68 appearances and spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina.

“I chose Como because I was very impressed by the project presented by the coach and the ownership group,” he told the club’s official website.

“When speaking with the coach, he shared his ideas about football, his approach to each game, and his mentality. This was crucial for me because the coach’s mentality aligns with my own.”

“As I mentioned before, I think it is a very ambitious project with the right mindset. It has everything needed to succeed.”

Como are managed by former Spain, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who added: “We are very happy that Andrea has joined the Como family."
