Rodrigo Muniz Voted Premier League Player Of The Month For March
Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz has been voted as the Premier League's player of the month for March.
The 22-year-old scored four goals and gave one assist in March, including getting a brace in a 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspurs.
Muniz came out on top in a seven-man shortlist that included Cole Palmer, Son Heung-Min, Antoine Semenyo, Alexander Isak, Ben White and Alexis Mac Allister.
The Brazilian is only the third ever Fulham player to win the Premier League player of the month award after Louis Saha in 2001 and goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer in 2010.
"Without my team-mates, the staff, everyone here, this is impossible," Muniz told Fulham's official website.
"It's special. The last two-and-a-half years were difficult. Now I'm adapted to England. I feel at home here."
Muniz joined Fulham from Flamengo in the summer of 2021 and has scored eight goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season.
