McTominay Joins Napoli From Man Utd For €30m
Napoli have completed the signing of Scott McTominay from Manchester United.
McTominay has signed a four-year contract with the Italian side for a £25.7m fee.
The 27-year-old came through the youth ranks at Old Trafford, graduated to the first team and made 255 appearances, scoring 29 goals.
McTominay won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup during his time at Old Trafford.
“McTominay will be missed by everyone at the club and leaves with our best wishes as he embarks on a new chapter of his career in Italy,” Manchester United wrote in a club statement.
“Good luck, Scott, arrivederci and thank you for the fabulous memories.”
In a farewell message to United fans, McTominay said he would have "snapped your hand off" for the Old Trafford career he has had.
"I've absolutely loved it and I'm very, very grateful for the football club and I'm ready for a new challenge and I'm ready to go and embrace it and take it by storm," he added.
"I want to see Manchester United win, I want to see us do really, really well and I'll be watching as well. Thank you for having me and I have enjoyed every minute."
