Tributes Pour In From England Players For Departing Southgate

As well as the two EURO finals, Southgate, who played 57 times for England, led the Three Lions to the semi-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup.

The 53-year-old was in charge for 102 games, winning 61, drawing 24 and losing 17.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, also on Instagram, added: "I also want to say a special thank you to the boss for always believing in me during his time with us and I would like to wish him all the best in his next steps. Thank you Gareth."

Captain Harry Kane wrote on X: "Boss. Thank you for everything you have done for me and our country!"
