Tottenham Cancel Contract Of Tanguy Ndombele
Tottenham Hotspurs have cut their losses on Tanguy Ndombele by cancelling the Frenchman's contract.
Ndombele's last appearance for the North London outfit came in January 2022 and he has since spent time on loan at Olympique Lyon, Napoli and Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old joined Spurs from Lyon for a then-club record £53m in the summer of 2019 and went on to make 91 appearances in total for the club, scoring 10 goals.
However he struggled to live up to expectations and Spurs have decided to end his contract a year early.
A statement from Ange Postecoglou's side read: "The Club can confirm the departure of Tanguy Ndombele following the mutual termination of his contract, effective from 30 June, upon the conclusion of his current loan spell."
"We should like to wish Tanguy all the best for the future."
Spurs have now severed ties with Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon since the end of the season.
