Man Utd Stick With Ten Hag As Manager
Manchester United have opted to stick with Erik Ten Hag as manager following an extensive end-of-season review of the club's performances.
Ten Hag had come under immense pressure after a largely underwhelming 2023/2024 campaign which saw them finish in eight position in the Premier League and exit the UEFA Champions League at the group stage.
However, United managed to salvage something from woeful campaign when they beat Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup final last month.
The result saw them qualify for the Europa League.
Ten Hag has one year left on his contract and United are now considering giving him an extension.
The 54-year-old Dutchman has won two trophies in two years at Old Trafford.
United suffered a spate of injuries last season and Ten Hag often cited that as a reason for their many disjointed performances.
