Kobbie Mainoo Delighted With Man Utd's Decision To Keep Hold Of Ten Hag
Kobbie Mainoo is pleased Erik Ten Hag will remain in charge of Manchester United next season.
Ten Hag's position as United boss had come under threat following a poor Premier League and Champions League campaign last term but he earned himself a reprieve by beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Mainoo broke into the Red Devils set up under Ten Hag last season to make 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals.
His performances earned him a spot in England's EURO 2024 squad.
Ten Hag has been told he will continue as United boss next season following an end-of-season review and Mainoo is pleased the Dutchman is staying put.
"Happy to be building with him, he's already got two trophies and hopefully there is more to come," Mainoo told reporters at England's training camp on Tuesday.
"It's nice to have that piece of mind. We know what manager we are going back to.
"He put so much trust in me and belief in me. I can't thank him enough."
