Kane Excited At Prospect Of Working Again With Tuchel
England captain Harry Kane says he is excited at the prospect of working once again with Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel has been confirmed as the new manager of the England national team and will begin his new role from January 1, 2025.
Kane scored 44 goals in 45 appearances for Bayern Munich last season when Tuchel was manager of the Bavarians.
The 51-year-old comes with a wealth of experience, having won league titles with Paris Saint Germain in France, Bayern Munich in Germany, and the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
Tuchel is only the third foreigner to take charge of the Three Lions after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
Reacting to the news of Tuchel's appointment, Kane said: "It's obviously a big move with Thomas being our new England coach."
"I think it's a really great appointment.
"Obviously, I worked closely with him last season, and I think he's a really top, top coach, and also a great person.
"I think he'll bring a lot of energy to the squad, a lot of experience as well, so really looking forward to starting with him next year."
