Hojlund Suffers Muscle Injury, Ruled Out For Three Weeks

After a tricky start to his Manchester United career, Hojlund has found form in recent weeks, netting in each of his last six Premier League games.

The 21-year-old Denmark international is set to miss upcoming games against Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Everton and potentially, Sheffield United.

On Friday afternoon, United released an update on their star striker's fitness, which read: "Rasmus Hojlund will miss Manchester United’s Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday due to a muscle injury. It is expected to keep him out for two to three weeks."

“It is a small injury, two or three weeks,” Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag confirmed.

“It is a risk in high-intensity training. It is not a big injury but he has to wait for two three weeks.”

Hojlund's injury leaves Marcus Rashford as Manchester United's only fit striker, with Anthony Martial also sidelined until April.

Manchester United are currently on a four-game winning run in the Premier League which has lifted them up to sixth on the table, five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.
