Everton Seal Illiman Ndiaye Signing From Marseille
Everton have signed striker Illiman Ndiaye from Olympique Marseille.
Ndiaye has joined for an undisclosed fee, signing a five-year contract.
The 24-year-old has returned to England, just one season after moving to France.
Ndiaye was instrumental in Sheffield United's promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2022/2023 season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in the Championship.
He tallied just four goals in 46 appearances for Marseille last season.
“The main reasons I wanted to join were how big the club is, its history and the part I can play in helping the team in the forward direction it is going in,” said Ndiaye, who has made 20 international appearances for Senegal.
“I'm so excited. I'll be very proud to be part of the last season to play at Goodison Park, too.”
Everton manager Sean Dyche added: “He is still young but has experience at European and international level and we feel he will be a really positive addition to our squad.”
