Cole Palmer Scoops Top Honours At Chelsea's End-Of-Season Awards
Cole Palmer has been voted Chelsea's player of the year at the club's end-of-season awards.
The 22-year-old also took home the players' player of the year award.
Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City for £42m at the start of this season and has slotted in perfectly at Stamford Bridge.
Palmer has scored 26 goals and laid on 13 assists for his teammates, having featured 45 times across all competitions.
“It’s been a dream season, a debut season for me, so thank you to the manager, the staff, the players and, of course, the fans,” Palmer said.
“I just came to play, to showcase my abilities, my talent to the fans. But it has gone amazing, probably better than I imagined so, yeah, I’m buzzing.”
Palmer is now a strong contender to make England's squad for next month's European Championships in Germany.
