Bellingham has also been handed a suspended one-game ban which will be valid for a year.

The 21-year-old came to England's rescue with a sumptuous last-minute equaliser before Harry Kane headed in the winner early in first half extra time for the Three Lions.

Bellingham was seen making a crotch-grabbing gesture towards the Slovakia bench after the match but he downplayed the incident when quizzed on it.

UEFA have however taken a different view on the incident and have taken action against the Real Madrid midfielder.

Bellingham is still eligible to face Switzerland in the quarterfinals on Saturday due to the suspended nature of the ban.

Earlier on Friday, Turkey defender Merih Demiral was banned for two games by UEFA for making a political gesture while celebrating his second goal against Austria on Tuesday.

The punishment will see him miss Saturday's quarterfinal against Netherlands and a potential semi-final if Turkey make the last four.
