AS Roma Sign Angelino On Loan From RB Leipzig For Rest Of Season
AS Roma have completed the loan signing of Angelino from RB Leipzig for the rest of the season.
The Spanish left back was on loan at Galatasaray, where he made 19 appearances in the first half of the season.
Angelino also spent the 2022/2023 season on loan at Hoffenheim.
The former Manchester City defender could make his move to the Italian capital permanent at the end of the season.
Angelino will wear the number 69 jersey at his new club and could make his debut at Cagliari next week.
"When I heard the word Roma, I didn't hesitate. Today, I'm proud to be a part of a great club with an incredible history and a team full of champions," said the defender.
"I'm excited to meet the coach and my new teammates and put myself at their disposal."
Roma's general manager Tiago Pinto added: "With Angelino, we welcome a fully matured player. We believe that his technical abilities, combined with his wealth of experience in the most competitive European leagues, can match and improve our squad's potential."
