Premier League Wrap: Liverpool Massacre Bournemouth, Haaland Hits Hattrick Against Palace

All the big guns won in the Premier League on Saturday as Bournemouth suffered utter humiliation at Anfield.

Without a win in their opening three Premier League games, Liverpool took their frustrations out on newly promoted Bournemouth, battering Scott Parker's side 9-0 at Anfield.

That was Liverpool's biggest ever win in the Premier League as they fell one goal short of setting a top flight record. Mohamed Salah was not among the scorers surprisingly but Roberto Firmino scored twice and set up three goals while Luis Diaz was also on target twice. Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harvey Elliott, Fabio Carvalho and a Chris Mepham own goal completed the rout.

Chelsea survived an early Conor Gallagher sending off to beat Leicester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge with Raheem Sterling getting both goals and Harvey Barnes pulling one back for the Foxes.

Erling Haaland scored a hattrick when Manchester City came from two goals down to beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium and Brighton and Hove Albion continued their impressive start to the season with a 1-0 victory over Leeds United at the AMEX Stadium.

Vitaly Janelt ensured Everton's winless start to the season continued as he cancelled out Anthony Gordon's opener six minutes from time for Brentford.

In the early kickoff at the Saint Mary's stadium, Manchester United were indebted to Bruno Fernandes, who scored the only goal of the game to give Erik Ten Hag a second consecutive Premier League victory. New signing Casemiro made his debut off the bench for the Red Devils.

Arsenal remain the only side with maximum points after four round of matches, coming from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

Martin Odegaard cancelled out Aleksandar Mitrovic's opener before Gabriel Magalhaes scored the winner five minutes from time
