Ronaldo made his debut for Man United against Newcastle United after sealing his move from Italian giants Juventus.
The Portuguese forward announced his presence at Old Trafford with a brace on his debut but insisted he was nervous before the game.
“I was very nervous. Maybe I didn’t show but I was,” he admitted, as seen above. “As I said before, the reception is incredible but I’m here to win games, to help the team.
“It was (an) unbelievable moment,” he added when quizzed on his debut goal. "As I told you before, I was super nervous and I was thinking last night what I want: to play good. This crowd is unbelievable.”
After opening his account for Man United in his second spell, Ronaldo will be expected to repeat same form in the Champions League when the Red Devils make the trip to Switzerland to face Young Boys.
Having failed to qualify from the group stage last term, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will hope to challenge for the prestigious trophy following the arrival of Ronaldo.
Ronaldo completed a £19.8 million move to United from Juventus earlier this week, having left Old Trafford for Real Madrid in 2009 for a then-world record fee of £80 million.
Ronaldo's arrival could power the Red Devils to a first Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club.
