His fine form in front of goal has also seen him match a feat from former Bayern Munich striker Roy Makaay, who scored in eight consecutive Bundesliga matches from April to August 2005.
Aubameyang, who is currently playing in the English Premier League for Arsenal did the same in the 2015/2016 season while playing for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
The Gabonese on the other hand is having a superb start to the 2019-20 campaign, netting eight goals in ten matches.
On Saturday, Bayern Munich face newly promoted Union Berlin who are 14th on the Bundesliga table and without an away win this season, and Lewandowski will have the opportunity to become the first player to score in each of the first nine matches of a season in the upper echelons of Germany football.
