Icardi, who was stripped of his captaincy last season by departed Luciano Spalletti was informed of not being part of new manager Antonio Conte's plans for the season.
The 26-year-old has seen his shirt number handed over to newly-recruited Romelu Lukaku, and has been told to find himself a new club.
But Icardi has since refused to kowtow to the club's order with his wife and agent stressing his husband and client has no idea of exiting the San Siro Stadium.
“It's true – he has said no to every destination that is not Inter," she said on Mediaset show Tiki Taka.
"Everyone has known his choice since the start of the summer and that is the case for any team that has shown interest. In my view, at the end of the day, he will remain at Inter."
And replying to Wanda's recent declaration, Marotta has disclosed the club have no plans of keeping the former Sampdoria striker as he was left out of the squad that won 4-0 against Lecce in their season opener.
"For us it is a bit of annoyance, both for the timing and for the way [she spoke]," Marotta told DAZN.
"I absolutely deny that any Inter manager, and in particular [chairman] Steven Zhang, has invited Icardi to stay.
"We have dictated a precise strategy and communicated it at the right time. We will go on until the end and nobody from Inter can distort this common line."
