'We Will Finish Where We Deserve To’ - Rodgers Admits After Bournemouth Defeat

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers believes his side will finish were they deserve to following their 4-1 defeat against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

The Foxes failed to usurp Chelsea who sit third on the Premier League table as Bournemouth kept their Premier League survival hopes alive.

Jamie Vardy's first-half strike had put the visitors on course for all three points but a spirited Bournemouth side turned the game completely on its head.

Speaking to the media after the game, Rodgers admitted he did not see Eddie Howe’s men winning the game, and insists he was disappointed with his team’s display against the Cherries.

“I didn't see that coming but we are not good enough to get too comfortable,” the former Liverpool and Celtic boss told BBC Sports.

“We were in control of the game, Bournemouth changed their shape and you expect a 10-minute spell when you are up against it.”

“But we let them into the game with a penalty and I was very disappointed with how we played from there.”

“It is not like us, we are a team that is strong mentally and we don't concede many goals."
