Ronaldo’s Manchester United future has been thrown into serious doubt after he laid into manager Erik Ten Hag and other senior figures at Old Trafford.
The 37-year-old is longer a guaranteed starter for Manchester United and it looks increasingly likely that he will leave the red half of Manchester in the January transfer window.
Arsenal currently lead the Premier League table as it goes into a period of hibernation for the FIFA World Cup to take place in Qatar.
The Gunners are five points clear of second placed Manchester City while the Red Devils are 11 points adrift of Mikel Arteta’s side.
Ronaldo has been impressed by the work Arteta is doing in North London and has tipped them to win the title.
When asked by Gunners supporter Morgan if he would like to see them become champions, Ronaldo confessed: 'I hope so.
'Manchester first, and if not, Arsenal is some team that I like to see play.'
He added about the north London club: 'I like the team. I like the coach. I think they have a good team.
'And if Manchester United don’t win the Premier League, I will be happy if Arsenal do.'
