Ronaldo was dropped for last weekend's 1-1 draw against Chelsea after refusing to be introduced as a late substitute against Tottenham Hotspurs three days prior.
The 37-year-old stormed down the Old Trafford tunnel before the conclusion of the 2-0 win over Antonio Conte's men and Ten Hag duly followed up on his word by excluding the Portugal captain from his plans.
But ahead of Sheriff's visit to Old Trafford in the Europa League on Thursday, Ronaldo has been pictured training with his teammates after holding talks with Ten Hag.
Ronaldo has started all four of United's Europa League matches this season, scoring once, though just two of his eight appearances in the Premier League have been starts.
Ronaldo's lack of game time this season has seen him linked with the likes of Chelsea and Napoli in the January transfer window.
United have also been boosted by the return of Harry Maguire, Donny Van De Beek and Aaron Wan Bissaka to full training after spells out through injury.
