Hazard Tips Lampard To Become One Of World’s Best Managers

Real Madrid superstar Eden Hazard says former Chelsea team-mate Frank Lampard could become one of the best managers in the world following the Blues impressive start to the season under the Englishman’s tutelage.

The Belgian left Chelsea for Real Madrid a month before Lampard made his return to Stamford Bridge as manager in the summer.

Following the FIFA transfer embargo on the Blues, Lampard has given a host of Chelsea’s youngsters the chance and he is reaping the reward.

Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, and Fikayo Tomori have all become regular starters for Chelsea in both the Premier League and the Champions League.

Hazard has praised the former Derby County manager for the spectacular job he is doing at Stamford Bridge, and he has admitted that he is not surprised by Lampard’s ability.

"I wasn't surprised about Frank Lampard," Hazard said after Belgium’s 4-1 win against Russia on Saturday.

"I know Frank as a player not a manager but he is a great guy.”

"He has shown already in four months that he came be one of the best managers in the world.”

"The good thing is they are playing with young English players. They are lucky to have young players with quality.

"Maybe with two or three more they would be first in the Premier League.”

The 28-year-old added: "When I saw them play it was nice to see them all play together. I still have friends there are want them to do well."
