Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has urged Ousmane Dembele to remain at Barcelona.
Dembele is currently embroiled in a contract stand-off with Barcelona as his current deal expires at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old was expected to leave in the January transfer window as Barcelona did not want him to leave for free this summer.
Dembele and Aubameyang combined to devastating effect during their time together at Borussia Dortmund in the 2016/2017 season and the Gabonese was a beneficiary of the Frenchman's playmaking abilities in last weekend's La Liga win over Valencia.
Dembele supplied the assist for Aubameyang's second goal in a 4-1 win at the Mestalla.
"It is something very special because we had an incredible year in Dortmund and he is an incredible player," Aubameyang told SPORT.
"Ousmane is one of the best with the ball and, for a striker, he is incredible.
"To tell the truth, I am very happy that he is here and when I arrived I told him: 'You have to stay, man."
A current Dortmund player Aubameyang would love to play with is Erling Haaland, who is expected to leave the Signal Iduna Park at the end of the season.
"I'm always prepared for healthy competition with my team-mates, so it would be an honour to play with him if he ends up joining Barca," Aubameyang, who scored a hat-trick against Valencia on Sunday, added.
"I'm not a coach, but I think Haaland is a great player.
"He scores a lot of goals, he has a very good physique and a lot of speed. He is very big, but he runs a lot. He is incredible."
