The French striker was on fire in Real Madrid’s 5-0 win against Leganes on Wednesday night, scoring one and setting up two more for Rodrygo Goes and Toni Kroos.
Real Betis are looking to win three-consecutive away league games against Real Madrid, but Loren is wary of the potential threat from the former Olympique Lyonnais striker.
The 25-year-old was speaking to Marca ahead of the Andalusian-based club’s game against Real Madrid on Saturday, and the Spaniard praised Benzema as a ‘complete’ player.
“I observe all other strikers because there is always something you can learn from them. Benzema is super complete, he makes Real Madrid tick upfront and he is very difficult to mark. The quality he has is incredible,” Loren said.
“It’s true that at Real Madrid he has sometimes been accused of not scoring enough, but now he’s demonstrating that he is a goal scorer and how great a footballer he is.”
Loren was asked to rate the performance of Real Madrid this season and the Spaniard admitted that he has not been watching the Los Blancos, but he feels they have good players who can hurt the opponent at anytime.
He added: “I haven’t watched too many of their [Real Madrid’s] matches this season. But the Real Madrid that we faced on the final day of last season is long gone, and they have a project for this year.”
“Although they have received a lot of criticism and bad press this year, they are still coming out fighting. I’m not going to go into detail now about the potential this team has, which is incredible.”
“Especially with the likes of players such as Karim Benzema, who can make a difference up front.”
