Salah continued a blistering start to the season last month, scoring five goals and providing four assists, including a hattrick in Liverpool’s 5-0 annihilation of Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old Egypt international came out on top in an eight-man shortlist that included Burnley's Maxwel Cornet, Ben Chilwell, Tino Livramento, Aaron Ramsdale, Phil Foden, Declan Rice and Youri Tielemans.
Salah also won the goal of the month award for his wonderful solo effort in Liverpool's 2-2 draw against champions Manchester City.
West Ham United’s Michail Antonio won the player of the month for August while Cristiano Ronaldo took the prize home for a fifth time in September.
Tuchel also saw off competition from Jurgen Klopp, David Moyes and Patrick Vieira to win manager of the month.
Tuchel led Chelsea to four wins in as many matches in October, scoring 14 goals and conceding just one.
This is the second time the German has scooped the prize, first doing so in March 2021.
