The midfielder missed the club’s games against Juventus in the Champions League and last weekend’s game against Southampton.
Kante was not available in France 3-2 victory over Belgium in the Nations League semi-final on Thursday and will not also be around when Les Bleus face Spain in the competition’s showpiece.
The 30-year-old self-isolated for 14 days and has now handed Chelsea a big boost ahead of the return of club football next weekend.
Kante will be in contention to play when Thomas Tuchel’s men make a short trip across London to face newcomers Brentford on Saturday.
The West Londoner took to their official website to announce the return of the 2018 World Cup winner.
“N’Golo Kante has returned to training following his period of isolation from Covid-19,” the club wrote.
“The French midfielder tested positive for Covid ahead of the Champions League trip to Juventus, but after completing his period of self-isolation he is now clear to resume training.
“Kante trained away from the main group, working on his fitness with a number of individual drills, with the aim to integrate him after the international break.”
Kante has featured in six games for Chelsea in all competitions so far this season and has scored one goal which came in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
