Wan-Bissaka received his marching orders in United's 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in their Champions League openning fixture.
Serving his suspension, Wan-Bissaka missed the Red Devils' recent encounter with Spanish side Villarreal at the Old Trafford.
Before the start to United's clash with Villarreal, it was revealed that UEFA had increased the 23-year-old’s initial one game suspension to two.
Speaking with the club's official website, Ole Gunnar Solskajer insisted the side are keen on tendering in an appeal to the incident.
"I am shocked," Solskjaer told MUTV. "Yeah, we’re going to hand an appeal in of course, because he ends up almost with a three-game ban.
"It’s two-thirds of the game he got sent off in, that one [against Villarreal at Old Trafford], and an extra one.
"If you look at other tackles in the Champions League, I can’t see any reason why he should have two games, or almost three as I said."
United are currently enjoying a football bromance they didn't know they needed at the expense of loan returnee Jesse Lingard and the second coming of goal-getter Cristiano Ronaldo as the duo seem to play huge role in the club's current run of form.
United will now look to extend their winning streak when they host Rafael Benítez's Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday.
