Klopp has admitted that Thomas Frank’s men could upset the Reds at the Brentford Community Stadium.
The Bees have lost only one game since their return to the top flight of English football, having already faced established Premier League teams like Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace.
Brentford’s highlights in the season so far are the wins against Arsenal on the opening day and against Wolves last Saturday.
Liverpool is unbeaten so far in the Premier League and Klopp has admitted that Brentford could bring his men’s good run to an end.
“Brentford are doing a brilliant job… how they recruit, how different they are, how much they show that even with less money, it’s really possible to create something really special,” Klopp said at his pre-match press conference (via Daily Mail).
“Yes, they have (a chance of winning). Not only because it’s football but because of the football they play. They’re an incredibly well drilled football team in this 3-5-2, or whatever they call it.
“Everyone knows what to do, everybody’s ready to make the extra yard together with the new stadium. I saw the game against Arsenal, I saw them celebrating, which was absolutely great to see. We know what we have to expect there.
“It will be a really tough one, but rightly so. That’s football. We all have a chance, we all want to go for it. They want to go for it, for sure. We will obviously have a go as well. It’s a really important game for us. I’m looking forward to it.”
