The Premier League champions are yet to replace the club’s record goalscorer Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer.
So far City’s only addition in the summer transfer window has been the £100m capture of Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish.
Man City were linked with Tottenham frontman Kane over the summer but after having their bid knocked back, the England captain decided to remain in North London for the remainder of the season.
It appeared Guardiola’s side were close to capturing Ronaldo from Juventus on Friday but the five-time Ballon d’or winner has also chosen to return to former club Manchester United.
For now, Gabriel Jesus remains Man City’s only recognised senior centre forward but Guardiola maintains he can get creative with his other attacking options if he does not sign another striker before the transfer window closes.
"I am incredibly happy with the squad I have, more than satisfied," Guardiola said ahead of Saturday’s game against Arsenal.
"We are the same squad except one player leaves, Sergio, and we have Jack.
"Anything can happen but, my opinion right now, today, is everything will finish like it is now and that's good enough."
Man City have started the season with a loss and win against Tottenham and Norwich City respectively.
