Aaron Ramsey Out For Several Weeks

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is expected to spend several weeks on the sidelines after he was diagnosed with an adductor strain.

A statement confirmed that a test carried out on the former Arsenal player indicated a low-grade injury to the adductor major muscle in his right thigh.

Ramsey's length of recovery process will be disclosed after more tests, planned to be performed on his condition will be re-evaluated in 10 days.

"Due to a muscular problem reported at the end of the match played against Udinese, Aaron Ramsey underwent diagnostic tests … this morning, which revealed a low-grade injury to the adductor major muscle of the right thigh,” Juventus said in a statement on Tuesday.

“In 10 days,” it continued, “he will undergo new exams in order to precisely define the recovery time.”

Ramsey's injury prevents Juventus from offloading him this summer after failing to find any club that will cater for his €7 million per season salary.

Ramsey started Juventus' opening Serie A match of the season against Udinese as the side drew 2-2 with The Little Zebras.

Wales plays a friendly against Finland on Sept. 1 before World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Estonia.

Wales having lost their opening game of the campaign away against Group E top seeds Belgium, returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home win over the Czech Republic.

Ramsey since joining Juventus from Arsenal has struggled for game time due to injuries but has managed to make more than 60 appearances for the Bianconeri.
