Tuchel says it is a ‘good way’ to start a season as Chelsea go top of the Premier League table with two wins in two games.
The Blues went to the Emirates Stadium as the favourites and actually lived up to their hype by blowing Arsenal away with a dominant performance.
Romelu Lukaku got Chelsea to a flying start inside the opening 15 minutes with a debut goal after tapping home a low cross from Reece James.
James turned from provider to scorer on 35 minutes after receiving a wonderful pass from his compatriot Mason Mount following a beautiful team play from the visitors. The England international stayed calm and blasted the ball past Bernd Leno.
The game could have ended with a bigger margin as Chelsea passed up chances to score more.
"It was a good match of football, fantastic atmosphere from the start. It is not like we controlled the game for the entire 90 minutes,” Tuchel said after the game.
“I thought at times in the first half we were sloppy. I felt a bit like we had heavy legs. So in some moments, we felt like we suffered a little bit physically and had easy ball losses.
"But in general I am really happy and it was a deserved win. and it is the best way to start a season, to not concede goals and give chances away.”
Next up for Chelsea is another daunting task in Merseyside when they face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
