Vivell believes the Norway superstar has what it takes to dominate like Cristiano Ronaldo has done in the last decade.
Haaland has been linked with a move away from the Signal Iduna this summer and Stamford Bridge remains his favourite destination per reports.
Dortmund are adamant that the former Molde FK and Red Bull Salzburg forward will not be sold unless a ‘crazy amount’ arrives.
Chelsea will be testing the waters in an attempt to secure the services of Haaland in the coming days and Vivell has urged the English side to meet Dortmund’s asking price.
“When I look at the market and see who I would spend that much money on, he would probably be one of two,” Vivell told SportBILD about spending €175m on Haaland.
“If you can secure him now and pay that much for him, you’re not making a mistake because he’s still so young.
“On top of that, you have him under contract for five years, and Erling is already guaranteed something then.
“If he stays injury-free, he can dominate the next ten or twelve years like Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Haaland has scored 57 goals and provided 15 assists in 59 games for the Bundesliga side.
